Nitrile Gloves


Nitrile Gloves are manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) which is a copolymer of Butadiene and Acrylonitrile.
This polymer is synthetic and completely Latex Free which eliminates protein skin sensitisation.
This glove offers better puncture, tear and abrasion resistance compared with Latex or Vinyl Gloves.
The soft elastic material feels cooler and is comfortable to wear. Not quite the level of dexterity of a Latex Glove - but close.
Nitrile gloves have now become the most popular type of disposable glove used worldwide, based on its price/performance.
Mid Blue is by far the most common colour, but also available in black, purple, white, green and orange.
An extensive range is available offering different characteristics and thicknesses. 

Chemical Resistance is good particularly against Petroleum, Oils and dilute Acids but poor against Ketones and Esters.

If you do intend to use Nitrile Gloves against body fluids, pathogens, viruses etc. you must use Nitrile Medical Gloves (rather than Nitrile Disposable Gloves) which are Examination Grade and have a higher degree of testing/inspection.

Unlike many other suppliers, we provide the industry standard weight of each type of glove (size Medium) which will enable you to directly compare our specification and prices. You will often see cheap Blue Nitrile Gloves on the Internet, which are at very low in price. However upon further investigation, they are invariably really flimsy and less that 3g/glove and simply very poor quality.

Most of our supply is in cartons of 10 boxes, however highlighted grades are additionally available in single boxes of 100 gloves.
